New Demolition Projects

At T Caudwell, we stock a huge array and volume of stones and bricks, including both reclaimed and some new. We regularly visit demolition projects of warehouses, farmhouses, mansions, mills, and more, giving us access to varied products.

Once we have sourced the best of the bricks and stone, we clean them up, ensure their quality, and then make them available for sale. Finding the right bricks for your project means matching colour, style, and dimensions, and while we have more than half a million bricks in stock at our Maidstone yard, if you need a particularly large order or require a very specific type of product, it is possible that we do not currently have the products you are looking for.

You can ring us on 01622 746 225 with your requirements, or you can register to be informed of when your desired products do become available.

Warehouses

Warehouses are large constructions and they were built to last. For this reason, they tend to be made from very strong and durable brickwork. In a lot of cases, the bricks will outlast other materials, including mortar but also timber frames. When the building fails, it does not necessarily mean that all of the bricks are lost or smashed. We visit demolition sites to source materials, and typically find a selection of bricks including stocks, gaults, reds, and multistocks.

Mansions And Country Homes

A typical house can take anywhere from 10,000 to 25,000 bricks to build. Large houses and mansions can take more than 50,000 bricks. The demolition of a mansion, therefore, represents a good opportunity to source high quality house bricks. Country homes and farmhouses tend to feature stone, including sandstone and ragstone. As well as blocks of stone, we also offer stone window and door frames, when they become available. Reclaimed window frames can also make a great feature in a garden, if you have the room and design to match.

Other Buildings

As well as houses and warehouses, we also attend the demolition of a host of other building types. Mills and even office blocks provide us with a lot of material that can be cleaned, sorted, and sold. If you are looking for a very specific type of brick or stone, contact us by calling 01622 746 225 or visiting our yard in Maidstone, and we will let you know as soon as any become available.
